in this case, yes. So I want to wait until they start making them before really looking into getting one. someone sent me a link where a lavendar pearl axis is, but I'm just too tapped to buy anymore guitars for awhile.

plus, I want the lightest natural I can find, so I'd want to see it before buying it. I probably wouldn't special order one.

ya know with all these cool colors, to bad there wasnt such a thing as peel off tops or convertable tops. when u get sick of a certain color just take the strings off and then peel off the top and stick a different color on it!! lol Hey, I told ya i was a little twisted!!

so the colour of the back is the same as the 20th, whats the reason for that exactly? is the whole back mahogany?
It's the same construction as the normal Axis, but with the double secret Mahog tone block in there ;)

Who knows if they'll make BFRs of it or what the back colour would be if they do. I'm sure they've got some fun stuff up their sleeves.

I think you should get yourself a red, as per your original idea. Its the best colour!

your right and i am!! royalmusic just sent me some pics of the one they have. To me from what i can see it has more birdseye that the one i was originally gonna go with and the quilt looks a bit better also. So, here i am waiting for them to call me back in a few so we can seal my first Ernie Ball Music Man!! woohoo!! lol deal.

Thanks Glenn, I better go back and look at the back now! didnt know that was the deciding factor.

so the colour of the back is the same as the 20th, whats the reason for that exactly? is the whole back mahogany?

The way I interpreted the color scheme was that the top was maple like a regular ASS, but the rest of the body was alder and mahogany like a 20th Ann. Silo. Someone from EBMM, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello,

I just wanted to say "Hello" and ask a question: isn't it fantastic that we, as users, almost haven't to take up quality problems with our EBMM guitars and thanks to we can a lot of discuss about choice what colour, pattern quilit or fretboard finish etc. :)
Anyway, in future I'm going to go spending more time rather on exploring my new guitar than posting but it turn out that everyday here is somthing interesting.
And I've realized I'm starting worse case of B.A.S :)

Best regards

PS. I'm so happy with my new baby (JP) :)
