Just a thread to say I love this guitar. It's had a bit of work done since I bought it from Fred.
Originally it had a mint green pickguard and cream covers. (I put the white ones back.) Then I decided to upgrade it with locking tuners and replace the original non-locking ones, much better for tuning stability. She had a few neck issues (damn you, birdseye!) so Jon did a killer job, as he always does, with his superglue neck treatment and fretjob- it's all sealed now and has no problems.
So snowed in this weekend, I decided to give 'er a makeover. Perloid pickguard rather than the plain white. Put in a Silent Circuit I had bought second hand. And finally, routed out the back for a battery box. That part was a little tedious- didn't want to ruin the finish. But loving the final product!
