Thanks for the info, Beej.:D Superglue and acetone. Very interesting and cool!! Isn't it difficult walking around with a guitar stuck to your hand.:D;)

Beej,

I have it's twin brother. I've been thinking about similar mods myself. Definately think I'll go with the locking tuners, not sure about the silent circuit though, this AL has serious mojo & i'm worried it may change the tone somewhat. Have you noticed any difference?

Thanks
Simon

Thanks Simon! The locking tuners are definitely worth it ... you can barely see the holes the headstock where the old ones were (and you could fill them if you were really worried; they'd be invisible). Rob, I can't believe you let that one go! That's nuts. Mind you, a new pinkburst BFR will heal your pain, as I gather you're counting on :)

No difference in tone from the Silent Circuit. There's a thread on it going, so I'll post my thoughts about it over there.

Thanks guys! That guitar really is a player.

Thanks Beej, Now I just have to go and apologise to Colin for all the terrible things i've written about him on the forum to see if he can get a silent circuit for me.
