are we ok discussing this? I can never figure out what's ok and not ok here.

so, the new album is pretty badass! I didn't expect more than a good trip down memory lane. However, I got my face smashed by a sledgehammer instead! Eddie has taken things to a whole new level, just ripping the guitar to shreds....like old school VH mixed with some modern metal, on speed! Wolfgang is a beast on bass, and Roth is hilarious. I don't know if I'm laughing at or with him the whole time, haha! Sonically I've never heard anything this strong and in your face before.

Man, I forgot how kickass and fun old VH is, and this falls right in line. Turn it up loud, and party!

Sure, if you think you folks can manage to keep the discussion on topic and not let ancient history rear it's tired old head?

I haven't had a good listen yet but what I heard of the track they released on YT (Tattoo?) I wasn't particularly turned on. It sounds like vintage VH to me, and very well put together. But it's not as 'progressive' as what I was hoping for and DLR ain't my favourite. But I'd imagine most VH fans will love it!
