No, I am going for it based on what I have read here and elsewhere. Sterling is next up down the road or a Stingray with a Sterling neck from the new batch of stuff coming up soon. Btw, does anyone have a good dealer I could use for Summer NAMM orders? My local dealer in Cincinnati is only attending as a private person and will not be placing orders.. Sad, but true... Thanks for the welcome back. It's an honor Big Poppa!

Well done on the 20th too... I was eyeing that one but don't have the coin currently.

You'll love the Bongo too... I have a feeling my next bass will be another Bongo.

I am just glad that the year long drought is over. Should've never sold my Stingray last summer. Equilibrium achieved again in my musical world.

Thanks Mr. Musahi,
I notice your sig says put flats on a Bongo. I actually probably intend to do just that. I am a flatwound kind of guy. It's what I have on every bass, except the 20th Anniversary Stingray I will get later this week. I like how they sound and how they interact with other instruments. I don't slap much, so I don't miss rounds. Which EB flats set would go with the Bongo?

That 20th is a great deal. I got one years ago for about the same price. They are great players.
Bongo is loads of fun, too.
Enjoy!

I don't have either bass in hand yet, but the first post does show you the ebay link for pics of the 20th. I should get that one on Wednesday. The Bongo is the standard black one as far as I know...
P.S. John sorry about not getting your bass. That Sterling looks great. I played one in GC the other day and I like them. I wanted to give a Bongo a try and that Stingray was just too pretty to pass up.
