So, I went out to eat with my family and my dad's friends. My brother and I, decided to go to the Guitar Center in Scottsdale, AZ, since it was in the same Plaza. So I was just screwing around with these middle end Ibanez guitars. My brother and I were about to leave, until I took a final look at the main wall of guitars.

Believe it or not, I saw 2 Ernie Ball MusicMan John Petrucci Signatures. 1 was Sapphire Black, loaded without Inlays, and 1 Candy Apple Red fully loaded. I asked one of the guys if they could pull it down for me( I was surprised they would do that, considering it is an extremely high end guitar, and I am only 15). Anyways, I was going to play through a Mesa Triple Rec, but I wasn't able to switch channels. So I had to settle with a Crate practice amp. Considering Crate is not the best amp that is on the market, I could not believe the Incredible Tone that came out of this guitar. I literally, would have done anything at that moment to get it(Obviously I would not steal it ;) , but you catch my drift). I could pick out that tone that you year from JP's performances. The action and feel on the guitar, could not have been any better. The next was so smooth, and so natural, it was incredible. From my point of view, nothing could be done to make this guitar any better.

Bottom line is, after not playing that guitar for over a year, I love that guitar, and I will somehow gather the money to purchase it. And I must thank, Ernie Ball MusicMan for making such an incredible guitar.

You'll get there! I didn't have a halfway "decent" guitar until I was 18, I think, and didn't get my JP until I was 23! You can figure out a way to get the cash.

Well, I should get my interview for McDonalds within this week

Basically, I have done the math, and it should take me around 18-20 weeks to get(If the current market value of a JP6 is 1200-1400). Considering the Labor Laws for AZ Minors is working only on weekends, unfortunately. But I just cannot wait.

I think it's great that you are mature enough to want something high quality and to work for it and have a plan. Bravo!

I work in a school and most of the kids there just expect their parents to buy them expensive stuff, which they lose constantly. But they don't care because mom and dad will just buy them another one of whatever they lost anyway.

You'll appreciate it because you worked for it. Can't wait to see it when you get one!!

Hey unclerico, If you liked the Scottsdale store, you should get someone to run you over the the Peoria store and check out the Platinum room. There you'll find at least ~ 10 EBMM's to enjoy. They had quite a few JP's and a few Silo's and Axis' last week during the Satch clinic..
Good luck with your savings and at your age, it's fun knowing in just a few months, you'll be playing something your friends will be jealous of..:D

Sell crap

I'm thinking of Selling my Jackson, in order to to help with that. My Les Paul will stay, because I need something for Drop C tunings, and guitars required for other performances.

Thank you Everyone for your support. :)

Thats an excellent story man, and I'm pullin' for ya. I hope you get it. Candy Apple Red JP's are real sweet. I was gonna buy a Fully Loaded one a while back, but I didn't really like Red, til I saw my Ruby BFR! :D

JPs are the best guitars ever made! You'll be VERY happy you saved for one once you get it. It's a life-changing experience when you realize just how much quality and attention to detail there is in an EBMM guitar compared to any other guitar manufacturer... Best of luck!!!
