Bizarre. Same scale length and both 22 fret necks so they should be switchable, though clearly the neck joints are different and the screw holes were probably plugged and re-drilled. Very weird that the schallers were taken off in favour of what I assume were the original locking tuners with the Sub1 (some did have that style of locking tuners).

So how much does half a Sub1 and re-drilled Luke neck without original tuners cost? I don't think I would pay that much.

When I had my SUB1 I removed the tuners (it was a hardtail btw) and replaced them with the shallers. Makes more sense. It looks ugly too imo, the textured red with the white headstock. With that screwed up neck joint, i'd stay far away from that one.

If it was cheaper I'd buy it just for the Neck, and build a new Luke Body with Hardtail and Spalted Maple Top.
I wonder what happened to the Luke Body? Maybe there is a Luke Body with Sub Neck out there?

Not for that price, maybe if it looked a bit neater lol. The white headstock with white pick guard looks kind of cool though.

I would buy this for about half the money they are asking. The luke neck looks good and a set of locking tuners doesnt cost a fortune...
