(My apologies to those of you who saw this over on the Dudepit)

My Bongo showed up on Friday of last week, and I've been enjoying the heck out of it. What a bass! I also accidentally picked up a Stingray last week with unexpected store credit from a unnamed national chain store.

Of course, what else do you do when you pick up two EB/MM's in one week?

Take pictures!

So, without further hesitation, here's my family. Thanks for letting me share!

Thanks for the compliments, guys!

Scott, you won't be dissapointed in the Bongo. It sounds good by itself, but in a mix this thing stands up and demands to be recognized. Honestly, it puts everything I've ever owned to shame. The Stingray ain't so shappy, either, considering its strings are over two years old (which is how long this bass sat there before I rescued it).

bassmonkee is correct, it is graphite pearl with the black ice guard. I had Gard going through the list of what they had in stock. He got to that one and I just said "Stop!"

Thanks again for the comments. I'm enjoying the heck out of them both. I did some recording (which will hopefully never see the light of day) with the Bongo yesterday and was knocked out by its presence on tape. Huge tone, but it mixed so easily. Today the Stingray gets new strings (the two year old Slinky's aren't doing it for me).
