Since we've had a couple of recent threads containing gig pics, here's one from me. This is from February 9th at the Texas Club in Baton Rouge. My 'Ray killed! :D

Bill, you played a club called Texas in Louisiana?

And without a hat?

You do know there's a hefty fine involved.

The cool thing about honeyburst is that it looks great with both a rosewood board w/ white pickguard AND/OR with a maple board w/ black pickguard I think.:)

Bill you forgot to wear cowboy boots also:eek:
I have a fond memory of Baton Rouge also. I played in Hilton Baton Rouge in 1981 and I visited a nice local music store in downtown. I played down south in early 80's and women were much more friendlier than up here:D

You can still get coiled guitar cord at Radio Shack:eek:
I should start using those because my bass cord and my guitar cord always get tangled up on stage:rolleyes: Only if Radio Shack makes better shielded low noise cables:D

You know who makes a great coiled cable? A company called Bullet Cable (I think that's their name). Do a Google search. 40 bucks at Rudy's in NYC for a 20 footer, in various colors. Very cool.

More generally, I'm glad to see so many honey's on the board recently. I feel like I'm in a club within a club!

Cool pics Bill! Sweet looking bass. Bet it plays smooth.
Yes, indeed! It's so easy to play & it feels so good.

Sweet pics Bill! Let me know when the SR5 goes live. :D
It had its first gig about a week & a half ago! It passed with flying colors. :D Unfortunately, it was at a wedding reception, so it's unlikely that photos will materialize.

Cool! The Hilton is now the Marriott, and the women here are still friendly.

That's exactly what I use! I bought this one probably 2 years ago, and it's never given me a bit of trouble. It seems very heavy-duty.
