And then celebrating a fruitful day in the studio with a bright green pint of 'Gollum' in The Hobbit.

Cheers man. Yeah it's an okay studio...but you get kind of imprisoned in there after a while! I sold the Lava Pearl, leaving me with zero MM basses! I'll update my sig, thanks for reminding me.

What the heck are you drinking in the last pic!? Looks like something from a Ghostbusters movie.... :)

Do You considering something new?

Not right now. I am going to buy a cheap squier or something until I can afford another MM, which will be in a few years now probably. I'm not leaving the clan though! ...and after all it's all in the fingers.

They call it 'Gollum'. I honestly don't know what is in it...but the aftermath of 6 pints is DEFINITELY not pretty. They also do a bright blue 'Gandalf', red 'Frodo' ...the entire Lord of the Rings back catalogue as I like to say! Samwise is a particularly nasty one, consisting purely of Baileys and Jagermeister in a 50/50 mix. yum!

As much as I love beer, if I couldn't afford to own a decent bass I'd be cutting back on the pints and putting some savings away so I could buy something a lot sooner.

I don't understand why it is SO damn green. But I do know that I like it...

But back to the main thing. The studio is at Southampton Solent University. And even though none of us are students there, we managed to get a student to book it for us and we get brilliant, free studio time! It's a great little studio aswell, extremely well equipped.
