A ? for BP and the gang

I went and saw Army of Anyone tonight. Robert DeLeo was playing his Schecter Signature basses and whipped out a Schecter 8 string. That got me thinking, have you ever toyed around with an 8 string or 12 string Ray (or any other bass config) - I know the market is very limited, but just for *cough* "research" (read as sh!ts and giggles), is there an 8 or 12 around?

there is an 8 string old out there somewhere, it's a modded old 4, but if i remember right it was done fairly well.

There's an 8 string converted OLP and an 11 string OLP out there, but that's it that I know of.

It'd be cool, however, I don't think it would ever remake its R&D costs.

How was Army of Anyone? Robert is a badass...hell, both DeLeos are.

I'd like to catch them sometime. We're playing on covering 'Goodbye' as well.

AoA rocked (they sounded better doing STP and Filter songs than STP and Filter did). Robert is an absolute bass monster. Shame he doesn't play his SR anymore live. I got a chance to talk with them afterwards and they are all great and down to earth (esp Richard Patrick).

That's awesome to hear, I'm sure they are all happy to be out on the road again and not be at each others throats...as was the case in STP and with Richard when he was still a boozer. haha.

Can't wait to see em.
