When I got my SR5HH it needed a set up badly so I took it over to Kamikazee's house and had him help me get it perfect. While there we decided to take a pic.

The SR5 HH has the CLASSIC Stingray tone. Just big, powerful, and awesome while the Bongo is one of the most versatile basses on the planet (I know I had one!). The quality of both of the EBMM's are amazing and the sound is undeniably Music Man.

Anyone else playing Music Man's in the boot (Louisiana)?

Hope this isn't cheesy:

Not cheesy at all. :)

My SR5HH is similar to yours except it has a roasted maple neck.

I always like getting together with other musicians. If I was in your area I would look you up.

I would like to try the roasted neck! :)

I'm Rocking a few EBMM every weekend down in the BR/Gonzales area! Where are you at?

That's awesome. Which basses are you gigging? I'm at the top of the boot in Ruston Louisiana!

The Classic has taken over as my Number 1 (It was the bongo for the longest... and I still bring it out from time to time.) The satin neck tied in with the easy of the 2 band boost only pre just does it for me right now. I gig with a variety band and a rock band and it can go from finger funk to gritty modern alternative sounds ... I just got a Sansamp RBI Pre and it totally kills through it .... its like a bigger, quicker tighter SVT! If I'm ever in the area I'll have to look you up!

There comes a time in every bass players life when they must make the pilgrimage to The Perfect Bass!
Also, If you're wondering what's on the headstock its a rubber Wedgie holding 2 picks (as I rarely play with picks, but it seems like 2/3 of the times i play with guitards who forget theirs :) ).

By the way, I keep mentally copying/pasting that maple neck onto my blue Bongo...
