A little help with my JP

So my JP7 is having a little issue, while i solo i always have rest my arm in the bridge because if not the low E,A & B vibrate alot ,mostly A . At the beggining i acpted a little but now is taking me out of control. when i play stand up those strings vibrate alot , and having my arm in the bridge is not in my technique .What should i do??? get a new nut?? fix the saddles? plese help i have a concert in less than a month and i like to have thinks ready

im not sure thats a hardware problem, from what you've said. it just sounds like you need to mute the strings when you play.

Yep.

You need to learn how to mute with that bridge.

I find it extremely easy, personally. It's a great bridge, I wish it was available on more EBMM models (*HINT!*).

JP does indeed rest his hand on that bridge.

I think just about everyone does, I know I do.

he does it very carefully. that's how come he's got a signature model guitar..& we don't......

perhaps you need to put it in your technique then. as far as i know, everyone has to mute the strings to prevent sympathetic vibrations...Mr. Petrucci is no exception.

OK guys i get it i will change muy technique,so now is confirmed my teacher is a complete a$$hole, he was telling me that everybody learns one way and some time later they have to relearn to play all again or something like that . im gonig to fire him and buried him in mountain of marshalls wich he was always offering for a high price
