What am I "WOWing" about exactly? The 25th is what I'm talking about :). Now I am definitely late to the appreciation of this guitar. I realize so many people have bought them on the forum and absolutely adored them, but I can't say they struck me until the other day. I finally got chance to sit down with one at my nearest guitar center. I must have played it for at least and hour. The guitar at my GC has actually been there for a few months now, but it is in great condition. The neck, finish, and tone are absolutely AMAZING! I thought it would be a great guitar as someone got it down off the wall, but I was wrong... it's just perfect. It felt sooooooo outstanding that it's hard to describe . I love the thin neck of my JP, but that neck on the 25th is just as amazing (maybe more so?) in its own right.

My friend was there with me that day. He grabbed the Luke sitting on the wall and sat next to me as I had the 25th. We swapped guitars... I wanted that 25th back after 2 minutes (no offense to those that love the Lukes, they are great, they just are not for my hands).

I'm sorry for my ranting, I just really wanted to say something after such a great experience and tip my hat again to the wonderful guitars that EBMM creates. I also have a REALLY silly question while I'm at it. Is the 25th neck the same as the axis neck? I understand that the 25th is a redesigned axis, but I was not sure if the neck was the same/similar due to the fact that I have not been able to find any axis guitars anywhere to play.

I can certainly agree with your observation of the neck of the 25th. As much as I'm a huge fan of the Axis (and now the Al), while last playing back to back the Al HH and a Reflex (same neck as the 25th), I found that the neck on the Reflex was easier for me to play. What do I mean? When I'd try to play something that is difficult for me to play.....I had better results and was able to play the Reflex better. Funny thing is that my first ever encounter with an EBMM was the same way....picking up an Axis SS.

I am a total 25th fanboy. I love mine.

I agree about the neck. It's got a special feel to it. Not like anything else I've played.

It's a special neck because it originates from a special guitar...literally (Silhouette Special) hehehe. I cant wait to see the colours available on the Reflex when it is officially released. Will need one eventually to balance the 2 HSS guitars and one HH :D. Always a good reason to have more!!!!

I loved the 25ths arm bevel. I know I would not get along with the lack of bevel on the normal axis so its heaven for me. The reflexes are definitely what I want to go for in the future. I'd love a PBB (assuming it will have the same finish options as normal axis guitars) :D. Otherwise black guitars suit me just fine. :p

I've been having serious GAS for a 25th ever since I played one, I loved it! I liked it as much as my JP, just different altogether.

Agree with the JP statement. It's just different, but great. I wasn't expecting to fall right in love with it just because the JP took some time to get used to, but I was wrong. I think the 25th might be a match made in heaven for me . It definitely has to be my next guitar, or a reflex if I wait a while.
