That's the Solo-A-Week guy... great guitar but I still feel that the Axe FX lacks something, the tone is similar but seems a little too digital to my ears.

I promise you that's YouTube's absolutely horrible audio compression algorithm you're hearing. Have you ever heard the Axe in person?

I'm really enjoying all the aspects of the guitar. While it is quite a bit different from the JP6 in many ways, it still feels and sounds pleasingly familiar. The changes are excellent improvements, and I'll be going over all of them in my full demo, which should be up in the next few days.

I know what you mean, also my amp sounds very different in person. I acknowledge the convenience of the AXE FX but all the youtube samples haven't convinced me yet. Would you recommend it to replace my Mesa Mark V and pedals??? I really can't justify having both, not yet anyway...
