hey, ive noticed, that this forum has becomes really packed. i loe to see all the musicians trying to learn as much as possible about thier instruments, but i found that its become a littel swamped... i can no long come back weekly asn easily mangae things. i dunno if ne one notied the same thing, or if neone agrees with me.

dont get me wrong, i love this site, but maybe due to the larger size, maybe cahnge things up? possibly divide the bass section into suber sections. for example "how-to's" "tech help" "bass talk" "up coming shows" "local events" "Anything goes"

i am aware this is easier said than done, but i think that it is plenty capable, and would benfit us so much more. its be much mroe organized, and so much mroe fun.

any one agree? :confused: i'd just find it more conviniant to the average forums broswer who comes every so often to aid others and learn thier own thing.

has this idea been going around? i mean, i haven't been ehre for like a month, so im backed up 2 pages worth... so lost.. :D

It's true. You can be gone for a day and find two pages worth of lively threads. Truth is, you just gotta let some of them go... Fly away!

I disagree. I check in every couple days or so - and I can't complain. Take Talkbass.com for example, it's a good site with a lot of great info - but it doesn't have the "atmosphere" the EB forum has. Here people are friendly - over there you'll get your head chewed off in second for something you'd have never guessed would be an argumentive issue. Plus browsing through all of their "categories" is a pain in the a**. When I go there all I do is hit the "New Postings" button and look at all the new postings on one page. In other words, just like it is here on EB....

I think the EB forums are great just the way they are. Simply browsing a posting is not a big deal. I think it would be a lot harder if they seperated into different categories. The way it is now is simply one forum to browse - it's just simple. Sometimes, like when playing the bass, simple is good!

I think the board is perfect the way it is (although, it could use a tap....), splitting it up into catagories would kill it, it's a total pain to peruse a bunch of catagories, when all I want to do, is see whats new, read, respond if needed, and be gone.

i vote no on catagories for EBMM.

keep the board simple and elegant, like a flower in spring....

I vote no categories too. How many times does a thread start out on one idea and then another related idea pops up? If it was categorzied you'd have to repost into the new category too?!?:confused: I enjoy it just the way it is. A few friends conversing about Music Man and basses in general. Keep it simple please.:p

I get that too. To be frank, I hate it when I discover that the world doesn't revolve around me. Shucks... Stop posting when I'm away! Sheesh. Problem solved! It's that simple, guys. ;)

But I cast my vote to keep this board as is. I'm luvin' it!

Leave it as is;

Oh, Bo; I wish you would have stopped the storm in Dallas, it tore the________ out of things here, just got electricity today.
