Just put 9's on and took the extra spring out putting it back to the factory set up but the trem seems to be along way forward , i think this is how luke has it set up but could someone just confirm this.

Darren, check the G string...if when you pull up the bar it reaches an A# (3 semitone rise) then its in factory setup. If not then remove the back cover and tighten the 2 screws that are connected to the trem claw...a couple of turns will make a big difference.

Congrates on the Luke purchase, they are awesome guitars, just reading through this thread, l'd knew you'd love the Luke, l love the Luke, and l also love the morse, nice neck and great pickups, but not really a fan of the Wolfgang, l have one sitting here, and well l never play it, l hate the pickups, not a fan of the neck, and well, l just don't like it.

But enjoy the luke. Red's an awesome color.

Play's a lot better now its got 9's on it and trem the is floating .
Always been a fan of EMG'S , i just think when you've got more than one guitar it gives you a sound completely different from anything else.
That's what made up my mind really was the differance in the sound compared to the morse , i think they compliment each other.

I could be close to swaping the Wolfie plus cash for an Axis.

Is there a quick and more importantly easy way to lower the action slightly on my Luke .
I'm finding Malmstein licks (LOL) on the Luke a little hard with the high action.

It doesn't need to come down by much it's just a little to high after putting things back to factory set up.

Any help would be great.

Darren.
