Well, as I posted here: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-guitars/30878-what-color-pickguard-candy-apple-red.html , I'd gotten kind of sick of the pearloid pickguard on my baby candy red silo special, the suggestions were very helpful, and thanks to Fogman's barrage of photos I was able to pick out a color. If you read this Fog, thank you for the pic of that killer red/tortoise morse that served as the inspiration for this:

A more streamlined look, and a new pickup, and I love it more than ever :D

The pickguard is cool, but I just cant look at it without the rest of the pickups and knobs, hehe. No offense.

I removed the original guts many years ago when I first got the guitar (it started out as an SSS model, but it played and sounded so perfect unplugged that I had to have it, and had to make it into what I wanted.)

I got the new guard from Pickguard heaven/chandler pickguards (which was recommended to me by EB customer support when I told them I wanted a non-stock pickguard)
