Anyhoo, congratulations, welcome aboard, and say hello to the Fresh Prince of Darkness.

You have stolen my joke, sir!

DJ Jazzy Death...welcome! I like you already! I've played that same Sterling configuration at a couple of different Guitar Centers and it is a VERY winning combo, both tonally and visually. Congrats!

Again, thanks for the warm welcome from everyone! I'm really happy that I've been a member for about 24 hours now and I already have people quoting Alladdin.

I wasn't able to weight it yet but it's definitely not too heavy. It sounded amazing through my rig and I'm really happy with it. It really changes the sound dynamics of the band in a good way. The one thing about it though is the action is a tad low... I'm wondering if I should make a slight adjustment to the bass or if I should just get Regular Slinky Strings instead. I believe they come equipped with Super Slinky's, right?

Welcome DJ, and congrats

I have the "Sting Ray with an impossibly fat neck" version you refer to :)

If I do say so myself, a beautiful finish/pickguard combo :)
