Well, thanks to you guys, I've been doing some serious gasing here, to the
point where I couldn't resist ordering me a new Ray. I've seen it in the picture
post recently, just fell in love madly...
So the Bongo is not for sale anymore, I'm keepin' it (just for moi)

SR4-HH
Tobacco burst
Rw, matching head
Tort guard

Should get it in September, that leaves me plenty of time to find an excuse for
my wife. "But honey, see, this Ray is completely different from the Bongo..."
No, that sucks... any suggestions?

T'is the first time I ever get a bass to "my" specs. Usually I bought what they
had in stock. This one's gonna be special! :)

Congrat's on the new Ray! Tobacco Burst is my next Ray purchase (SR4, H, MHS, Black PG).

I've got a Trans Gold SR4 and a CR Bongo-4 coming to me in the next couple of weeks...my first ever done to my spec's. :D

Man, you're going to be one happy dude! That sounds like a beautiful combo, and of course you'll post pictures when she gets here.

You can use my technique on the wife, worked well for me so far (7 EBMM basses and counting).

I’ve always looked at my late in life decision to start playing the bass as my “mid-life crisis”. A lot of guys my age deal with this differently, some buy a big Harley or a dream car costing tens of thousands, or have an affair, which can cost way more!

But a new bass is no where near as much trouble or money, hey it works for me…. Try it.:D
