Had a lend of a camera today, to take some pics of some stuff I wanted to sell, and I thought I'd nab a decent rig pic while I was at it, so here it is:

Engl Invader 100
Engl V30 Pro cab

So, it's John Petrucci's guitar, with Steve Morse's amp. :D

Thats AWESOME! I wish I could get myself an ENGL. I think I'll go for a Genz Benz later this year. People seem to like those, and I wont have a huge dent in my wallet.

Anyway, Morse uses the Special, but now has his signature of his own. I'm sure the Invader sounds amazing as well.

That looks pretty awesome alright. My intention is to have the lite version of that rig with an ENGL Thunder Combo and a Luke II. Hurray for Irish ballers.

Hey, thanks very much everybody!

Yeah, it's an absolutely incredible rig. I love the amp to bits, it's just incredibly versatile.

Thanks guys. The Invader is a terrific amp, so I'd definitely say check it out. Quite a few of the Engls are geared very much towards death metal, and are very compressed and oversaturated sounding, such as the Powerball, but the Invader has a much more natural, classic kinda overdrive to it. It's fantastic.

I wonder what Big Poppa thinks of Engl? I'm sure Steve Morse has had a few around Music Man HQ.
