Hi!
edited to add: I/we also need the money for something else, and I quite agree that it's pointless to keep the money invested in so many basses, given that they need storage space, too.
Is it appropriate to ask for a price check on one of these here?
I have one in mint condition, and the wife has told me something's gotta go -
well, actually, a lot of stuff has to go. So... I'm trying to pick what to keep, what to sell, and this is a nice 'Ray, but I might have to sell it if there's a decent market for them. And keep something I got cheap for what it is, a Read custom NAMM showpiece =)
So, I guess I'd like for a more enlightened opinion than mine on whether it's sellable and what kind of price I might expect to get for it...

p.s. an example of a bass you just can't sell at any price: Spector NS-5XL - I've been trying to sell it forever, and don't even get the lowballing offers!
