it's the first HH AL that has really grabbed me.

(Col, if you use this post to persuade me to buy one...I swear to god...)

LOL, it will still be awesome:D, I do like the black when brand new but shows use and smudges so quickly, but hey thats what they are for:)

HH AL rules, looking forward to your pics.

Indeed, guitars are for playing. The pictures we take of them before we start playing them is for nostalgia.

That's the best one of all!!! Hope these will be around for a while. I was never a fan of the AL shape and the singles, but the HH AL is something I can totally see myself playing...especially in THIS scheme. There is just something about bursts and natural Earhy color tones that I cannot resist.

So which do you prefer now Pete? The black beast or this natural wonder?

Roubster, having choices is a wonderful thing, and so is figured mahogany! I have never liked tobacco burst or vintage sunburst enough to get a guitar in either color, but the original Koa Luke and this HH AL have me thinking...

If I didn't have those pesky JPX guitars on the way I'd have likely bought the black one.

Now that I see this one, I really need to find one of these to test drive.
