A question about Tremolos

Hey EBMM community!
I am currently looking into replacing the 2 point tremolo on a non-EBMM guitar and was wondering how the non-locking EBMM tremolo fits in a non-EBMM hole. Stud spacing and so-forth, I love the way the EBMM unit feels and when finances allow I'll likely just buy an EB and be done with it but, in the meantime am I totally off base asking this here?

Not sure if the posts are the same as any other trems, but i'm not sure if EBMM will sell a trem separately.

Why not just get a wilkinson VS type trem?

Love the MM trem but also have a guitar with the wilky and love it. Very smooth nice trem.

You guys are right. I'll likely end up with a Wilky from guitar fetish. I have not seem any MM trems for sale and wouldn't know where to even start looking if not on thebay.
