Larry, that looks like an awesome company...

The guy has amazing customer service. He responds to e-mails within 12 hours even on the weekends. I emailed him at 3am on Friday when I got off work. He responded at 8:30am the same day. Can't wait to see the final product.

I don't use my amps at home.
I mess about with my Korg AX1000G into my Logitech Z-5500s.
I hear you all going OMG lol...

It just causes less arguments and it sounds great, god bless amp modelling and cab sims.

I never had good luck with modelers maybe because I never had a FX loop? The new Frenzel has a FX loop so maybe I'll give them a go...

Nah I wouldn't use them with an amp.
They are good for recording though and just practising.

Peavey Bravo 112 - 25 Watter EL84 amp for home use.
Have "unpimped" the clean channel with a 12AY7 tube but rarely dial in higher than 3-4 on the volume, cuz after a speaker upgrade to a Celestion Vintage30, this thingy gets freakin' loud. Overdrive/Distortion channel is depending on pre- and post-gain settings, but never surpass 1/3 of it at home. Cranked up 3/4 once in a practice room and a guy running a Diezel Herbert + matching cab asked me to turn down a little.... :D
... 4x12ers are just to focused and rather not useful for small rehearsal rooms...

OK, when nobody's at home xept me, I do uncover my old Marshall 1960 (half G12T75, half Vintage 30) and run either the Bravo or the Valveking 100 head through it. Always alotta fun... :D

While at home practicing (if plugged in) I usually have the Clean & Overdrive master volumes on my Soldano SLO-100 at 2 & 1, respectively. We had a quiet band practice yesterday, Clean was at 4, OD was at 2.

I like the headroom on the clean channel with 100 watts - it lets me get the right volume and by adjusting the preamp I can control when it starts to break up. I've run the amp at 5 for gigs, and I set it just over 7 when I am recording at the studio. I'm lovin the tone with this amp and my Dargie JP - maybe I'll shoot and post a vid later this evening, I figured out some "great" settings the other day.

Yeah, thats the Lexicon ALEX that Tommy got me hooked on (edited above). I use a volume pedal to control the mix of the delay, since the clean channel doesn't hit the FX as hard as the overdrive does - I need to lower the FX signal on the OD channel before it hits the ALEX. In that clip I used the volume pedal to set the mix where I wanted it and then used up a footswitch to turn on/off bypass. The Mesa 50/50 was a bit high for the wet, but hey, for a livingroom recording on the DV cam, it came out ok.

On my F-30, I'm probably running with Master Vol. at around 1 to 2 (if I'm getting rambunctious). I only go up to 2 (Actually, it's probably more like 1.5) for short periods of time during reasonable hours, like midday to say 9pm on a weekend, for only about 30 min. at a time. For the rest of the time, I'm usually down around a Master of 1 if I go any longer. Clean channel gain around 4. Dirty channel gain around 7.

Man, those go cheap. I might have to pick one up.
