So seeing as koa is in very limited supply, I imagine the koa top JP BFR will also be available in very limited quantities. So this made me think; obviously it's a model a lot of people would dig, and I think part of it has to do more with the fact that it has a mahogany body and neck, ebony board, and gold hardware. So my question to you is, once the koa is unavailable, will there be any plans to make a model similar to it, but with another wood top other than koa? (Mainly for the sake of continuing to offer a model that has a mahogany body,an ebony board, and gold hardware)

After the Koa becomes unavailable, I'd personally love to see something with maybe a Walnut top like that one off BFR, but with the gold hardware and ebony board. I think that'd be sweet.

That's pretty much the other top I could see that would look awesome with ebony and gold hardware...Wishful thinking...

How about a JP6 with a spalted maple top? That would make me want to play some angry music? I think I just scared myself.

This would be too sweet! I would want a rosewood fingerboard, the mahogany tone block (maple tends to be a bright wood). I don't think I would want gold hardware either. I wonder what a flamed or quilted spalted maple would look like? I've never seen that. Anyone?

First off the attraction for the koa bfr jp is the package in total. WE will make a lot of different combinations of BFR's and f we run into the odd log of koa you may see some version of a koa one again. AWith the bfr concept we really want to always have all of our creative options open.

WE have made a coupla walnut topped ones...One for sure Ernie has it

Yeah, I agree with BP that the entire package is what makes it so attractive haha. Out of curiosity, will JP be getting one of these?

So I take it that's a "no" to my main question for the time being?
