I work part time as a tour guide at my alma-mater- the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin West (Scottsdale, AZ).
While giving a tour yesterday, somehow the topic of music came up and a lovely woman told me that her husband (who was with her, but talking to his friend) was also a bass player. I continued the tour, and at the end, as I was thanking people as they exited the building, the woman's husband came by and I said "I hear you're a bassist too!". He said he was and then asked me what kind of bass I played.
"I have several basses, but I mostly play Musicman; a Bongo and Stingray 5" I said. "What about you?"
"I own Rickenbacker" He said. To which I replied, slightly embarrassed, "Nice to meet you Mr. Hall!"
(For the record, let me say that I do own 3 RICS)
