I could play like that if I'd never gone to school! I have just bought my first EBMM, a Silhouette Special. as I'm left-handed it was a real find. I say first because I'm already planning the next one. It has been used but has been well looked after but the fingerboard is a little dirty. You can tell which were the only keys he played in. RobW mentioned wonder wipes. What do you recommend to clean the fingerboard? Also what do I use to treat the neck, is it gun oil? Thanks in advance.

Hi Siro and welcome. Plenty of good threads on the forum about neck cleaning.
You haven't stated your location - is it the USA?

If so the general consensus of opinion is to use Murphys Soap Oil.

It kinda depends on how dirty the neck is?

If it’s just a little grubby you could get away with a light sanding using 400 – 800 then 1200 grade wet and dry paper use it dry, then recoating with Birchwood Casey Gunstock oil.
