In recent months I seem to have gone overboard with the EBMM purchases what with the 25th Anni, Reflex, Albert Lee (x2), and I'm having a severe case of buyers remorse. I'm not one of those guys who is happy to hoard loads of guitars, it just seems silly, and it's difficult trying to decide which one to play at any time.

So, I've decided the only solution is to be ruthless and sell some and I spent most of today playing through my little collection trying to decide which ones to let go. Trouble is, each and every one is so bloody good with their own unique characters I just can't bring myself to sell any:confused:

The only ABSOLUTELY definite decision is that both Albert Lee's are staying regardless as BP must have sprinkled some magic fairy dust over them before they left the factory:)

I know that I regret letting my previous MM guitars go but man do I love my rosewood AL.

Yeah I feel that way sometime - I have way more than I need and sometimes I will pull them out one by one and play them to see if there are any I could part with. But they are all so darn good, I can't do it.

I do agonize at gig time what to take. But it is also inspiring to take a guitar I have played in a while!!!

Good luck

I'm having a similar problem with the Lukes. I'd like to sell one to fund another MM for variety but I don't want to sell any at the same time lol. They're the same guitar but different lol :)

But I don't really have any non-EBMM guitars any more, um, er, well apart from the Brian Moore (for sale), Roland Strat (for sale), Steinberger (for sale), Langcaster (for sale), PRS's (keep), and Eggle! (for sale)

Well then, there's your answer...

I agree, sell the other gear. Keep the MusicMan guitars you play.

Problem solved, I've moved some of the others out of my music room and into the spare room, therefore - out of sight out of mind. The music room doesn't look so cluttered and I don't feel any guilt, heck I've even got room for another AL ;) :D

Would love to see your Eggle if it's allowed. I used to frequent their factory back when I was in college.

(Incidentally, a JP BFR in their Adriatic Blue Sunburst finish would be stunning!)
