So after two days at work with little to no productivity due to my mind trying to convince me that this weekend in Dallas was real and not just a dream I had sunday night, Im about to unload. Please be patient. I wasnt going to do this, but I feel I must.

First thanks to Jack and Erica for letting us come and crash your birthdays.

Sterling and the entire EB team. Man, you guys left me floored. There are no words that can really cover how amazing this weekend was, amazing in so many ways. You are all just great, great people.

To my forumite brothers and sisters. Thank you for the hang.

Ive had a pretty good run of intense circumstances this year kicked off by Dads massive heart attack in February. Seems like the year was full of unexpected and not so pleasant surprises.

Most happened from July until now, and I really just shut down. Ive been so busy trying to "get through" and "cope" that music has really taken a backseat. Ive cut down to 3-4 gigs per month and have seriously considering not playing out for a while. Sadly my lack of dedication to music since July cost me my bass role in my main band. That happened a little over a week ago. So then, I really decided I was done playing out for a while. However, this weekend really helped me out. From different comments and chats with fellow forumite bassists I really decided it was NOT time to slow down with music, and I really want to get back in the game. I have some cool options right now, and Im going to make the most of them. I cant thank all of you guys enough for the little things you did or said that somehow turned the light back on inside my head. You guys rock.

Andrew, the trip to and fro was a blast. No matter what anyone ever tells you, I think the world of you.;) You have so much respect from me, and Im honored to call you a friend. Okay honored may be a bit strong, lets say I dont mind calling you a freind. :D

Ive never been more proud to play MusicMan basses than I am right now. I just may be in the best company around.

Travis, it was great to just hang out with you and not just swinging by your house for a few minutes just to see your new stuff. I am indeed honored to call you a friend and fellow bass player.

Travis, Andrew, I enjoyed talking to you both in the food line and elsewhere. Thanks for laughing at my natural goofiness (or at least pretending to laugh) and not running away to call the police.

My pleasure, Travis.

It was great to meet you and see you flirt with one of my best friends. (I'm sure she flirted back.)

It was also great....well, not great....it was interesting....no, wait, that's not right, either...I guess I'm saying it's good that you had someone with you to make the drive.
