Today in the UK we have a charity appeal called Children in need. It has been running now for many years and it funds UK and worldwide childrens charities. The BBC does a lot of work both on TV and the radio to promote it.
Kids take in cakes to school to sell, they have "no uniform days" and pay for the priviledge, people in offices do all kinds of crazy stunts - like me!!

I played for 3 hours today and raised over 330 quid that's over 530 dollars. The people on the "buckets" raised over £100 an hour.

Here's a photo of me playing in "Rock Star" gear lol

This was the first time I used (some) backing tracks and it was a whole new discipline playing along to these. I enjoyed the day.
S'funny really - woke up with a head cold went to work and did it - felt ok. Once home the "man flu descended again - ha!

I like that 'the show must go on!', never mind the man flu, "I've seen a million faces and sneezed on them all!" Really well done.

Ha - the Edge -like it!!!

Manned up and went around me Mam's - she's 88 - and I installed windows - not the computer variety :)
If I hit mt left hand once I hit it half a dozen times! -Hand looks like a "blind cobblers thumb".
Amazing to think that most of the timber I took out was installed in the 1880's! - Wonder how long the uPVC ones will last?

Now back home and inactive - so the cold is taking grip - I'll just have to get the (medicinal) Brandy out lol

Cool thing happened today as I was walking through the main building - several people came up to me and gave me money- said they didn't have it on Friday - took the grand total up to £350.20!
