I have one of these which I bought to annoy my bandmate, it did the job admirably :)

It's a little headstock heavy, but doesn't sound dreadful and plays ok..

P.

I've got a Bongo humbucker and preamp laying on the bench. Hmmm. A Daisy Rock that Jack would play!

I'm 5'11"...weigh 210...and I don't complain about my 9.5 pound stingray :p

I'm sure you can find yourself a nice light sterling, I mean, just take your bathroom scale to a guitar store and weight the sterlings (or get dude to find you his lightest one!)

This thread was resurrected from the dead!

I wrote that a long time ago. Yes, my new Sterling is lighter. I love my Sterling and it didn't get heavy during the hour long gig I had yesterday. I weighed it at 9lbs and 4ozs. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is NOT a heavy b*st*rd!

Sorry my dear - my fault :D Saw that Steve was offering free straps to the girls and want to know if it still stands!

Glad you're so much happier with you're new Sterling - if we can get Tiffs that one on eBay, Blue Dawn is going to be the "in" colour for the ladies! :)

Thats cool Az. I hope he hooks you up. The straps are amazing.

Just let it be known to all I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth...... whatever the hell that means. I'm not doing it. :) I was talking about my old white body when I said it was a 10lb heavy b*st*rd. My new Sterling is lighter and looks cooler to boot.

I just realized I wrote "wondering" instead of "wandering" in the title. Dorkified.

ur dont ask... i need to get a visa and find a job in USian land. and figure out where my other stop over will be because believe it or not its cheaper to get a round the world ticket.... so i have about a month and a half before i have to be in germany for christmas. JOBS! anyone got JOBS!? also have to arrange a new passport and put a deposit down on the flight. travel is SO EXPENSIVE.

i heard you americans can get money for giving blood.....

I think it would be easier to get a tourist visa than one that would allow you to work here.
