Last night played a show where each band had an EBMM, one guy had an OLP, a guy had a SUB ray and i had my Black sparkle ray, you all know the one...
gaf-1.jpg

and after the chaos of getting all done and dusted when i got home and checked my kit over i found the goddamn lugs on the bridge had gone!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
WTF!?!?
i can only assume it was one of the others but they seemed nice enough, if perhaps a little young and hyper (drunk)!
How do i get hold of new ones ?
is it legal to kill under these circumstances?
How did the little b*st*rds even get the damn things off?
if not kill where do i stand on maim?
is that even how you spell maim?
cheers!

"Maim - To disable or disfigure, usually by depriving of the use of a limb or other part of the body". Sounds like a pretty accurate punishment to me

PM me and I'll tell you how to take care of thieves....

Or PM Bovinhost....he might divulge the secret "eyelid" trick.....

Seriously, that is amazing to me that someone got just the lugs off. Why not the whole bass is my thinking? Strange and if it were me, I would go straight to kill mode....but, that is me.

Thieves around here are treated to a “southern exorcism”, that’s where we take them outside and just beat the devil out of them.

Call customer service, they’ll take care of you.

But this sucks man, stupid teenagers!

(This is of course isn’t aimed at the truly fine and outstanding teenagers here on this forum. You know, like Dude, Andrew, me and so on.)

Very weird. Where did this act of vandalism take place?

Perhaps the OLP guy was trying to take the complete bridge assembly and had to stop before he'd completely removed it.

Tow the cuplrit around the M25 behind pick-up.

That's the weirdest music gear related theft I've ever heard about. Maybe the same guy stole some parts from your amp at your previous gig, since the amp mysteriously stopped working mid-gig, IIRC?

Assuming you mean the two anchor bolts, they are easily replaceable. I've ordered a pair directly from EB Customer Service before (very reasonably priced as well).

Todd, are you suggesting the anchor bolt thief is a serial offender?
