Is this a limited edition in it's current form? I have a feeling it might be remade into another finish inder a slightly different name, ala 25th/Reflex. But is it safe to assume that the Barolo finish will be limited to 2010?

I bet they'll keep around the color and add other ones. Only time will tell though.

From what I've gathered by looking at the staff's posts regarding this, it seems as if the JPX is NOT limited to 2010 and since Barolo is the only finish currently, it's safe to assume that as long as JPX is still being made, Barolo will be available(unless they start selling an unfinished version :D).

The JPX will be available next year just like the SMy2d is still available. There is no "anniversary" in the name and EB considers it a standard model. It will be available until it stops selling or EB decides enough is enough.

The 25th Anniversary MusicMan is no longer available to order (only in 2009).
The 20th Anniversary Silo is no longer available to order (only in 2006).

Trust in Pete!

However! If EBMM introduces a new finish to the JPX, Barolo could theoretically be discontinued. JPX itself, as a model, does not appear to be limited to 2010 though. And I doubt they will introduce a new finish already as soon as Q1-Q2 2011 so you still have at least 6 months I'd say :)

Please note though, that this is just speculation, as with every one of these posts made by non-staffers :)
