I was thinking Black Cherry Burst too.

The Cherry Burst is actually a great colour.

Still timeless, but with classy attitude.

Cover all bases : GET ONE OF EACH !

Cherry burst looks nice, but always reminds me of 90's Les Pauls!

I hadn't thought of that - but it may indeed be why I'm drawn a bit to it.

So I want to thank everyone for their help, both here and in the SVR/TexasTone thread.

The trigger has been pulled, I placed an order with Pete DuBaldo for a Cherry Burst, with MM90 pickups, maple fretboard, hard tail, and the piezo option.

I'm crossing my fingers I geta quilt top, but I'm sure I'll be happy with flames as well.

Now comes the hard part... the four month wait!

I have seen both in the Axis SS. No doubt the Honeyburst looks great. But the one I saw in Cherryburst absolutely kicked A$$.
