Add a tone knob to AX40?

What's the least invasive way to add a time control to my stock AX40? I assume a stacked pot, but what values would work? I have a couple TBX pots from past Stratocasters... But I don't know what their values are.

Hi Tacomamc,
The AX30 has a 5 position selector with Tone and Volume, whereas the AX40 uses 3 position selector with volume only.
For the AX30, the values are A500K for both T & V.

Use a concentric pot. It has a top/center pot and a outer/lower pot. You can use one as the volume, and the other as the tone.

FWIW, That's what I would do too.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, the tone pot! That little intrusive knob at the bottom of the guitar.

Put it on 10, then stand back with a Glock 19.
