I have a Silhouette Special...how easy (and what price) is it to have EB/MM add the piezo system?
BTW, I had another pickguard made for 2 passive HBs, which I like better than the HSS combo.

I Think for the money and seeing the type of music you play aaaaaaaaand all the guitars you have you should look into a nice Godin. Check out this one http://www.godinguitars.com/godinlgxsap.htm

Salut!

Actually, I really like Godins but they are a bit clubby in the neck and heavy overall for me. My main piezo/synth guitar is a Brian Moore, only because I haven't installed the elsectronics in my EB/MM yet!

Thanks for your interest in the Silhouette Special. Unfortunately we do not retrofit existing guitars to install our piezo system. It has to be ordered from the factory with the piezo option ,as we have a different body route to accomodate the piezo.

Thanks

Ahh, was afraid of that. Well, for anyone looking for after-market piezo systems, I highly recommend the RMC pickups...a great acoustic sound, and wonderful for driving a synth. http://www.rmcpickup.com

I too highly recommend the RMC's. I have a Baker B1 that I had retrofitted with them and they are excellent. I went with the 8 din connector out of the guitar with the external polydrive unit to convert it to the 13 din into my Roland VGA-7. This adds virtually no weight to the guitar.
