Hi!!

I'm a happy owner of a left handed silhouette special for 2 years now.
I want to add a piezos system to it now. MM does not sell thier system alone.
Anyone here did this modification on their guitar?? anyone can suggest me a product??

Many thanks for your help!!

Haven't heard of anyone on these boards doing that.

Lots of us have piezo models from factory though.

You may have to buy another ebmm with it already installed :D

It is to my understanding that MM use fishman piezos like parker guitars. Although it would be best to buy a new guitar with the system already installed, you can buy fishmans preamp and pickup seperately. BUT: the pickup comes as part of a bridge, so you'd need to change your current one. You can get a piezo equipped bridge in about 3 different tremolo incarnations and a few hardtail as well.
I don't know much about the silhouettes, but it would probably be best to discuss this with a luthier. The process would likely involve some kind of body routing, for the battery box at least, if not for the preamp as well.

CHECK OUT THESE:

Fishman Power Bridge
LR BAGGS
Graphtech Ghost (I'd presonally go with this one since you can retain the original bridge and just replace the saddles....)

Kei....err Melvin

It can be done to any guitar after market, just need to get the components to do it.

Late!

RMC makes the best sounding piezo bridge out there, better sounding than the Fishmans (which is why Parkers now have RMCs).
Check em out here.

I use one in my Brian Moore and love it. And is there any official reason EBMM doesn't sell an aftermarket piezo system? It seems like there are many who would buy it.
