What do you use to turn the "screw" to adjust the intonation on a Majesty? flat head, phillips, hex (size) etc ??
Thanks

I'm quite shocked the guitar didn't come with all the tools to adjust everything. I'd like to know the answer to this too. Maybe EBMM sells a "Majesty Tool Set" or something?

I know when you buy an Ibanez J-Custom they give you all the tools and a coffee table book on the history of Ibanez. Just sayin'. ;)

...in other words, bump!

Sorry. There are small access holes in the rear of the cover. I guess it might be helpful if anyone with another JP with piezo trem could share what they use. Probably the same. I am just hesitant to start sticking what might be the wrong tool in there and damaging something. Thanks.

It didn't come with a tool set? well.. I'm not sure about you, but I have 5 bazillion allen wrenches from various things.... plus a small tool set that contains all the allen wrenches you will ever need is pretty cheap.. That being said.. ALL of my EBMM guitars have a phillips screw connecting the saddle.

I would have said I'd eat my hat if they changed the adjustment screws on just one guitar but there you go. I will however express no small amount of surprise.

Sorry if I was curt yesterday. You cannot damage anything by trying different allen keys or screw drivers. They either fit (and it's obvious when they do) or they don't. And the most likely thing you can do to damage something is dropping a screw driver and scratching the finish.

Happy whatever-is-left-of-your-Monday. Carry on!

FWIW, my long t-handle 2.0 mm worked well for the intonation, and seemed to fit without excess play. Seems strange that the saddles would be metric (1.5 mm) and the intonation would be 5/64.
I'm a newb guitar player, but have set up a few guitars for my boy. Can I ask how to get the bridge cover off? I've been having a little trouble getting my action low, and feel better about tweaking the intonation while I can see the screws, rather than going by "feel" through the access holds.

Does anyone have any instructions regarding lowering or raising the bridge via the posts? I realize that the individual saddles offer adjustment, but I am drawn to the bridge posts. I just don't want to damage anything. Any tips would be appreciated!

So, not ALL of my EBMMs....

How'd you remove the bridge cover? I'd like to do this for when I adjust intonation. It seems like it'd make things go faster.

Quick question for anyone reading:

When adjusting intonation on the Majesty, if I'm getting sharp tones I'd need to make the string longer by turning counter clockwise right? This should loosen the string, elongating it resulting in a lower pitch?

I've been trying to get my G in tune. So far the octave is about 2 cents sharp and the harmonic is right on. Any advise?
