I am not sure I understand the Bank Z concept.
Bank Z had 15 presets.
So bank Z allows 3 more banks on the 5 way switch?
In the heat of battle, How do you know where you are with respect to bank Z?
Is there any visual indication?

I was confused about that too, but I think it just lets you switch between 15 different presets not using the 5 way switch.

So do you just set the piezo in the presets, so it can be accessed on the 5-way? That could actually make things a bit easier switching-wise. Damn I want one so much!

Wow, it's like I have fallen asleep and woken in a new century! I leave for what a few years and Big Poppa reinvents the wheel! Great stuff, and to think I was actually going to get one of those other guitars! Like I always said, nobody beats a Ball!

This is my own interpreation. Think of Bank Z as your toolbox with an assortment of tools. Your tools are stored there, but you want to have the ones that you use the most readily available, hence bank A and bank B (10 sounds). You can take some of your favorite Bank Z sounds and have them ready on the fly in either Bank A or Bank B. I don't think Bank Z was intended to be used "in the heat of battle" like the 5-way switch.

If you get tired of the tools you have in your toolbox (bank Z), then go to the hardware store (the Gamechanger site) and get some more!

@John Price ...

I agree, it does look awesome. I'm going to wait to see what else EBMM is going to offer as options for next year. I'd really like to have the game changer electronics in a Steve Morse. We'll see ...

My other guitarist, Stevo, was looking at getting a Reflex. He might get the Game Change instead.

BP, I'm so excited for what's in store for us regarding the Game Changer. But also, very importantly, thank you for thinking about us and giving us the scoop when you really have no reason not to other than the fact that we're a bunch of Knuckleheads!

GAS!!!!! :D

I agree! Some of the sounds Steve Morse and John Petrucci demonstrated were pretty orgasmic. Mark my words, I will have one at some point this year!

I initially had my reservations about the GC primarily because I was so content with the 10 sounds I got from my 25th. The 8+ million possibilities all seemed nice in theory to me but I was never sold on the idea because I never thought of the true application this new revolutionary design can have. After watching the videos I am more than sold. Stunned really. You can't fake the tones and the tones the video provided were nuts. Insane! I've never been so excited for an instrument in my life before.

No one here is going to use 8million different tones a night BUT which tones YOU WANT of the 8 million is what matters and has me so stoked.

"I've been playing this thing for a couple weeks now and it just works." -Steve Morse. You couldn't ask for a better review!

HOLY COW!

I get it. I totally get it!

Will there be an iPhone app and a special cable for iPhone/iPod? Imagine doing downloads just from an iPhone--no need to drag a laptop computer around!

Congratulations to BP and everybody at EBMM. This is truly a milestone and a historic moment in the development of the electric guitar.

I just finished watching the videos and really get it now. The stuff Steve Morse was doing with the cocked wah tones were just insane. The harmonics were just bubbling over the notes. The stairway to heaven lick.

I need to plug this into a dirty amp and check out the out of phasey type tones.

Sterling this is too cool and it is exciting to be able to watch you guys introduce this to the world. It's gonna be a good weekend!
