... my lefthanded Sterling is finally here. What a beautiful instrument! And what a tone! :D. Weighs more (10,15 pounds / 4,6 kg) than my Ray (9,7 pounds / 4,4 kg) weighed.
Seven months are a lot, but as some of you already said : it's worth the wait!
After a quick setup it was completely how I wanted it to be :D .
But, ... (always a but...) : due to the travelling of the instrument, I think the maple has shrunk a bit and so the frets are 'coming out'. But no big deal... It isn't visible, and my dealer said he'll fix it for free :D .

Anyway : because it doens't exist without a pic :

What's up with you south paws? If it isn't the walls, it's the bed spread? Are you scared you might forget how to read if you're not constantly reminded?

Disclaimer: The above would have been real funny, except for my total lack of humor:p

Thanks for the nice words everyone, it's truly an amazing instrument!

Wreed schoon machien!! :)

Very nice bass you got there! Enjoy it, I'm sure you will!

Nice to hear from a fellow Belgian :) Mercikes voor de complimentjes.

Yeah I thought about that one. I took the picture and the first thing I thought of when I was adding the pic were psycho's walls... Sorry for copying your concept, Chuck... But I was too lazy to put another spread on  : I wanted to play with my new toy :D.

Nice - I'm still waiting for mine!!!!

Hold on my friend... My dealer told me the waiting times were 3-6 months when I ordered... I waited for 7 months :(. I tried not to think about it, but I know how you feel. It's even more painful when you're looking at others posting pictures of their newly arrived toys isn't it ;) . But the nice thing of ordering an instrument is that you can get it how you like it to be, Trans Teal (or Black) in your case... It's worth the wait... And isn't it a great feeling when the instrument arrives and we all become little boys / girls again, excited and unable to wait to unpack their presents ;) .

That is one spectacular Sterling!

Along with SR7181 I am still waiting for my first MM too. I ordered my Bongo shaped bundle of joy at the end of last August and it should come in anyday soon :) I can't wait!
