I still shake my head in disbelief. There are a few things about this guitar that I would not have put on it had it been a total custom order. I mean there are things like small frets and a painted neck that I would not have ordered. Thing is out of all of my guitars this is the one I continually reach for. As soon as I pop the tabs on tha case and pick it up it already feels more solid and just plain better than my other guitars. Strap it on and it's such a pleasure to play and hear. Doesn't hurt that it looks great to. This guitar is simply better. Most guitars with a higher pirce tag are nice, but not this nice. This thing is simply amazing!!! It made me rethink what I look for in a guitar. I'm 38 and have been playing since before I was 10. Played many many guitars in my life and this one is clearly something special. Thanks again EBMM.

I agree mate,

The JP BFR's are freaks.

And for me, the finished neck has almost ruined me for my other EBMM's.
(Mainly out of familiarity, as my BFR JP's get all the love these days)

It is also my humble opinion that these are the best looking EBMM guitars.

I feel the exact same way as you Jim. The guitar MAKES me want to play just looking at it. And for me the things you mentioned (finished neck, smaller frets) are also things I never would have ordered but now I couldn't live without them. Love them!! I wouldn't change a single thing on the guitar. Except take JP's name off and put mine on! Haha!

I have some really cool guitars but this one is seriously nice. Let's forget price for a second... I'm confident most of you guys have played guitars that are highly reguarded by the general guitar playing public. Most of us know whats out there. Sometimes you get lucky and are able to buy one that is a cut above. The tone, wieght, feel, sustain and looks are all there in spades. You stop playing your other guitars for the most part well after the honeymoon phase is over. When tackeling something thats difficult to play this kind of guitar gives you the confidence to practice until you can pull it off. Knowing that you have a great tool for the task at hand and that your instrument isn't going to be one of the hurdels you'll have to overcome.
