Per the gold finish on the Majesty, I wore though the finish on part of my bridge in just a few months. No biggie to me, though. In ten years the thing will have been played to death ;-)
Fret sprout is a routine fix. Years ago I decided to learn how to take care of stuff like this and bought all the necessary tools. Although, none of my EBMM guitars suffer from it even in the NE with terrible winters.
