AL HH or Axis?

Wow, I had no inclination that this thread/topic would generate so much interest. BTW, this a great forum and the guys/gals are very helpful.

If I was ever to sell/trade my trans orange axis, I would NOT go back and get a Strat. It would be a AL HH (love the white)...or as others have stated a AL SSS in Trans Gold!

Ever consider a HSH Silhouette? Gives you the best of both worlds.

I have one of the 4 Autumn Reburst Silo's. The ONLY guitar I've had that truly does everything, and sounds notably different in every switch selection. This includs American Strats, LP's, some ESP's, and a couple Ibanez. I'd give show you a pic, but my net-filter at work doesn't play well with photobucket.

Anyways, consider a HSH Silo if you really want to get as close to those strat sounds while retaining a little humbucker 'oomph' in 1st and 5th position. Mine has PAF Pro's in it.

And your Axis is gorgeous, by the way.
