As I have been away for a while, excuse the silly question!
Do the roasted necks have a glossy finish rather than the normal gunstock / wax blend?

Hey Tim the roasted necks have a glossy finish...they feel incredible, there's zero stickyness like other brands I could mention and I actually prefer the feel to the gunstock finish - I never thought I'd say that.
That said I have something special incoming that may make me part with my roasted Albert SSS....

I think I would prefer the glossy finish too. Now I have to find one, and more importantly find the money to buy one!

Although I really like the unfinished feel, I never had a problem with finished necks. No doubt this one will play excellent. Really curious how it holds up against my rosewood neck AL. Must say the AL has quickly become my alltime favourite guitar model..
Just got an e-mail from Knighton Music Centre that shipment will be after Christmas. I totally can understand that.. But I want it now!
Ah well, what's one or two more weeks....
