I've had a lot of questions for my friends whether a SSS AL can handle any higher gain tones. Here's a quick MP3 I did to try and show what it can do. The guitar is running into a Seymour Duncan PU booster (in the modern HB position) with it's "gain" set at 1:30. It then goes directly into my amp with the gain at 2:00 and the EQ flat but for a hair treble bump.

(This is my first attempt at uploading an MP3 so we'll see how this goes!)

I guess just click on the link in the link.

Sounds more like an AXIS than an AL! That's heavy man.

hehhehe......GOOD! That's what I was going for - heavy! A lot of that has to do with how my amp is voiced plus the PU booster. That pedal is really cool - you can gig with only one SC guitar and cover everything with it and the right amp. :)
