I wish it were closer to me, maybe he'll be doing some more locations.

I hope. Glenn |B)

Just a bit far for me as well. Is there any chance Mr. Lee will continue further up the East Coast. NY/NJ/CT

Maybe Dubaldo Music Center could host ;)

I might check out the one in Richmond.

I've never been to a clinic before, though I had a close call with a girl back in college <rimshot, thank you very much>.

What goes on at a guitar clinic?

The one's Morse does are lots of Q&A, some cool stories, unbelievble guitar playing and an autograph and picture session. (Probably similar with Albert)

...Oh, and if you're fsmith, you almost get to take him to the gig that night!

I'll check out the Guitars Plus/Pittsburgh clinic. It's just about 4 1/2 miles up the road from my house. I'll call ahead and see if it would be cool to snap some digital pics. If they say OK, I'll post 'em up here in August.

Steve,

That one isn't too far from me either. Well, if you consider a couple of hours not too far. I'm guessing though that the place will be packed and not much chance of a Cleveland guy getting through the door.

I would be both honored and delighted to hold a clinic! All EB would have to do is pick up the phone and give me a buzz :D

It would have to be held at Store #2, the main store is too tight for a clinic to take place in. The only thing I would wonder about is if the musician population in this area could support the clinic.

PETE YOU ARE THE MAN!!! :D

Pete, I'm in Mass, I'd make the trip if that's the farthest AL could make it north.

Later, Glenn |B)

Ditto everything Keith said.

Get there early. I sat around BS'ing with the owners and they let me stay while Steve and Dave set up and did their soundcheck before letting everyone else in. Got the best seat in the house and had about 10 minutes to talk to both of them one on one. I had the chance to ask all the questions about the Y2D that NorM was too afraid to ask on the forum for fear raising the ire of BP. :D

Both were extremely friendly and even after the clinic when everyone wanted pictures and autographs if you asked them a question they made you feel like there was no one else around. Really cool.

I get the impression that Albert would be the same way.

I just added the pictures I took from the clinic to my pics page.

If you're the only gig in the Tri-state area you might be able to draw from a wider audience. It seems at least Glenn and I are willing to drive a couple hours :D

Albert' s schedule is pretty tight these days. Bill Wyman, Earl Scruggs and the Everly Brothers are all calling. Albert mentioned that he had a few days in July to spare. The dealers wanted him to come because a lot of guitarists do not frequent these markets very often.

Big AL's schedule takes him back to Europe through November. This may be an opportune time to see him play. If you can make the drive it would be well worth it.

Maybe we can get him up the Northeast corridor in 06.

Well we intend to be here another 52 years, the space is always available for any EB artist who wants to do a clinic, even Raz. :D

Wow - a clinic featuring the Razxis 2044

By the time that rolls around, just make sure the store is wheelchair accessible so I can get in and out  :p :D
