Hello everyone,

Glenster here in Ontario Canada informing you all of the return of Mr. Albert Lee to these here parts for some Guitar Clinics August 7 through 11th in the GTA Southern Ontario at the following locations.

Times are still to be determined (mostly evening Clinics)but here's the scoop:

Tuesday August 7th: The Guitar shop (Burlington Location)
Wednesday August 8th: The Arts Music Store (Newmarket)
Thursday August 9th: LA Music (Mississauga)
Friday August 10th: Long & McQuade(Oshawa)
Saturday August 11th: Long & McQuade(Markham)

We had a blast last time he was here so for those of you who couldn't make it out here is a rare chance to catch Albert burn up the fretboard and listen to a true master of the instrument.

I will have more detailed information shortly but wanted you all to mark it on your calendars.

I WILL POST ANY NEW INFO ON THIS IN THE ERNIEBALL SPECIAL EVENTS SECTION

Thanks Glensterr

Hey Beej,

I'm doing the Guitar clinic with Brent (The Guitar Shop) in his new Burlington location for a few reasons

1) to draw attention to his new store which is pretty cool
2) he has more room there to host the clinic
3) To draw some people from the Hamilton/Niagara region who normally wouldn't come all the way into T.O.
4) LA Music is a new dealer and I think this will be a great way to kick off their dealership.

Some of you are asking what goes on during a Guitar clinic so I will give you the best answers I can given the fact I have done quite a few of them now.

They will each vary a little depending on the Artist but generally follow this guidline.

Normally run an 1hr to 2 hrs

The Artist usually brings along backing tracks to play along too. Showcasing their specific playing style and techniques.

The artist will give a history on themselves/playing styles/tunes etc.

There are chances for the audience to ask the Artist specific questions on playing techniques/gear used/tunes/stories etc...

the Artist will play a certain number of tracks (varies from Artist to Artist some play a lot some not as much focusing more on the questions being asked).

After the session I usually do a little trivia question and answer period with the audience for some Ernieball prize giveaways and then the Artist will do an autograph signing session and one on one meet and greet.

Everybody leaves extremely happy and contemplates that next Musicman guitar or Bass they are going to buy ;) !!

Hopefully that gives you an idea.

I was lucky enough to attend last year's AL clinic at the Arts (well, at a local theater), and when Albert played an MM90-equipped AL at the request of someone in the audience, that hooked me and I later purchased my first EBMM, a Black Cherryburst ASS with MM90's (looked amazing under the stage lighting!).

Since then I've purchased a Luke, which is pretty incredible.

Brent- that's like a 6 or 7 hour drive. You'll be passing right by Foggy along the way :)

I'm out of town that weekend but if you can make it during the week you're welcome to crash at my place.

Brent if you are going to make the Saturday show in markham(north /east Toronto you are probably looking about 4 hours from the Sarnia/Detroit border. The tuesday night show in Burlington would be closer about 3 hrs from border.

There are tons of Hotels to stay at, in and around the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
