Albert Lee hard case

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum, but not new to Music Man guitars.
Yesterday, my wife bought me (20th anniversary) a Albert Lee MM90 (used) that only has a gig bag.
In the 90's I had a pinkburst AL that has a hardshell case much like a '60s strat case but about 6" shorter. You know the type, black tolex and leather end caps.
Where can I get a case like that today?
Is the SKB style case the only one available now?

I think it is a G&G case I want.

Dude welcome. Wow, 2 guitars, nice wife man, pictures are a must around here.

Now for the case, yes the older style are the G&G cases, they can be bought from Guitar Center and online from Musicians Friend. The new molded SKB cases are nice too.

GW... I think he got 1 AL for his 20th Anniversary... no wife can be THAT cool... (if so, does she have a sister???)


You should be able to order a BFR G&G Case from a dealer. There are a few on the forum that have a good rep and you can also try guitar center.

My local Charlotte Guitar Center is terrible.
The staff are dumb as posts and not quite as helpful.

Don't look a bad price either for a quality case. Think you will inevitably put a few scuffs on a case yourself anyway over time so why not buy like this.

However, what do these market for new ?

A BFR case is pretty impressive. It fits the AL perfectly also.
