Hey Dean,

As you are a Luke lover, too, I'm interested in your opinion:
how did the neck of the AL feel, compared to Luke necks? (thickness, etc. )
(There are no ALs near to me :()

Anyone who has ever heard Albert Live knows that there is only one Albert lee. the Guitars are incredible and I got to play a couple in Palm springs that were absolutely incredible instruments, (fact is I have not played a bad EBMM Guitar) They were so easy to play and it almost seemed like they played themselves. You guys build intense intruments! We are sure thrilled with ours! I am going to Pop on Some Carlene Carter and listen to Albert Tear it up!!! Rock on Poppa and Crew!~) the Bearman

Deano being the shred man as he is and Rob the Al master, I can't wait to see the HH Al in the hands of some Knuckleheads from down under!

When I get my new amp I was going to do a video of a few of my different guitars going through it, so I might hit Colin up to see if I can borrow the Al ;-)

you know where I live ;)
colin thinks he can eat it all at a smorgasbord too
while I look like I have eaten the full buffet I know exactly where I am (and belong in the food chain). My passion is just white hot, now if I could just get some more Aussies interested in these guitars...

Wow, Dean...I can't wait to see some heavy stuff on that AL.
Last week I searched on youtube some clips with the HH AL and after watching 20-30 I got the impression that HH AL has more of a vintage rock sound not very suitable for metal stuff...was I wrong?

the AL HH is just such a well rounded guitar with spunk! that's why I like it! has nothing to do with being metal hahah ive written over 100 pop/rock songs and worked on heaps of different artists albums, i aint limited just to metal hahaha but its my fav style to play coz its so fun! and especially on that Al !!!!!

answer a few questions:
Well im sure i could pull a metal tone out of the HH even though its not really wired for metal But for the metal tones i like it has a great mid boost honk that i absolutely loved and played amazing, i dont only play shred guys hahahah:)

and the Al neck feels kind of like an axis the rosewood is just so beautiful and has a great tone to it also!
you could switch between the Luke and the AL very easy!!!
maybe a hot rodded AL with chrome Emgs would be wicked for TERAMAZE??? hehe!

Although I'm more of an 80's metal enthusiast, when I played the HH in Boston, I found it to keep right up with what I'd do with my Axis....maybe more so. I've never played a guitar before that was so easy to make growl and then scream bloody murder...then clean up and play nice and sweet.

It really is a great "everything" guitar, in my opinion.
